Making Magic at the Sister Circle Holiday Gala

Last Saturday, I had the incredible honor of working the red carpet at the Sister Circle Holiday Gala in Huntsville, Alabama, an unforgettable evening dedicated to fundraising for mental health awareness and celebrating sisterhood. The event, held at the elegant Van Brunn Center, brought together a dynamic mix of talent, leadership, and community spirit.

A Star-Studded Evening

One of the evening's highlights was my exclusive interview with Crystal Renae Hayslett, the talented actress known for her role on the hit TV show Sisters and her uplifting podcast Sweetie, Keep It Positive. I also had the privilege of speaking with the Director of Schools for Huntsville City Schools, and many other prominent busy leaders.

The night’s musical performances were nothing short of spectacular. Q from the legendary R&B group 112 graced the stage with performing hits including his new single, "Beg". Followed by the supergroup Jagged Edge, who had the audience on their feet with hit after hit.

DJ Smurf Keeps the Party Going

As the gala transitioned into the after-party, DJ Smurf took over and kept the energy high, spinning an incredible mix that had everyone dancing well into the night. It was the perfect way to close out an evening of celebration and connection.

A Celebration of Community

The Sister Circle Holiday Gala wasn’t just about entertainment; it was a celebration of community, sisterhood, and raising awareness for mental health. From the meaningful conversations on the red carpet to the unforgettable performances, the evening underscored the importance of uplifting one another and creating spaces where everyone can thrive.

Reflecting on the Experience

Being part of this incredible event reaffirmed my commitment to amplifying voices and stories that matter. It’s always a privilege to shine a light on the talent and leadership that inspire us all to be our best selves. I’m grateful for the opportunity to work the red carpet at the Sister Circle Holiday Gala and for my sister's who joined me (see our cute pics below).
